MOGAM anchors every research process and decision in a simple truth, asking: "Does our work deliver true value and good to society?" Our CI is our definitive answer to this question. It is our promise and the guiding compass for where our research is headed next.
'Mogam (牧岩)' is the pen name of the late Young-Sup Huh, the founding chairman of the institute, meaning 'to make the world more abundant.' The institute's name originates from this pen name, and its meaning continues through the 'research that benefits the world' that MOGAM Institute for Biomedical Research pursues.
The radiating blue circle symbolizes both the Earth we share and the fundamental cells that construct the human body. It captures MOGAM's vision to lead the next frontier of life sciences through cutting-edge technology. Anchored at the heart of this sphere, the name 'MOGAM' reflects our unwavering commitment to serving the greater good.

The signature is the most important visual element representing MOGAM and must therefore be managed carefully to maintain a consistent image. It must never be redrawn or arbitrarily altered in ways that compromise its integrity. All uses of the signature should be enlarged or reduced proportionally using official digital artwork.

Alongside the symbol mark, the logotype is a core visual element that conveys the image of MOGAM. It was designed to harmonize with the symbol mark, and its letterforms, weight, and proportions must never be altered arbitrarily.

The color system of MOGAM consists of gradient expressions, primary colors, and secondary colors. Because the signature serves as a visual identity across a wide range of media, maintaining consistent color application is essential. Careful attention is required in all production, and any questions should be discussed with the identity management team before finalizing the main color.
